Women in Interventional Cardiology
I feel very lucky to have trained in this time. I think it something like nine % of the interventional cardiology seald is is women. And i think fewer, fewer actually practising. There's definitely some sexism. Some older people in the field that you w grew up during a different time and just sometimes say things without even realizing kind of what they're saying,. or how it could feel being perceived as a female person ving those comments. But i think if we can create a culture where, you know, you're allowed to stop and say, like, hay, that's not okay to say that, that would be coming a long way.
