I think Doom holds up as a game more so than a lot of games from that era. It's, it's primitive, but I especially if you have mods on, you can turn on like the graphic gore. And then most miraculously, it's also fun because if you actually go back and play a lot of these games, they are not fun in the traditional sense of the word.
