The 4th Marine Brigade consists, that was the entirety of the Marines in France. A battalion is a maneuver element consisting of approximately 1,000 Marines. The battalions are going to be oriented along a north-south running line at Bois de Belo. And the Germans have set in a defensive position inside of the wooded area.
