The Triumph of Mark Antony

Mark Antony deposed the king of armenia in 34 b c. He placed his own son, alexander, on the throne and declared cleopatra to be the queen of kings. When octavian and the senate heard about this series of proclamations they erupted an outrage. Antony was turning the eastern empire into his personal kingdom.
