Non Fiction and the Art of Literary Criticism
This is the third time you and i have talked on the radio, the first two times at the radio station and and the third time here at your house. So when smallbeer press announced its release of words or my matter, it seemed only natural to meet again and talk about non fiction and the art of literary criticism. When a reader opens words ore my matter for the first time, the first thing we encounter is a poem, followed then by the first sentence of the forward where you say, i seldom have as much pleasure in reading non fiction as i do a poem or a story. You know, i suppose it was a sort of a back handed apology, in a way, saying
