These days flatter authors use all sorts of techniques to prove their theories. The only thing that matters is what they can concretely see okay because they've never seen the earth from the outside with their own eyes nope. They have seen the Chicago skyline from 50 miles away on a clear day which by their calculations should be impossible if the earth was round.
