Creating New Universes - Is That the Best Way to Go?

There's a movement called effective altruism. It says we should spend money on charities that do the most good for people. So it made me think, wel, maybe creating new universes would actually be the most philanthropic and charitable thing you could do. But i have to take into account how speculative the idea is that you're running after. And er, in the case of something that's as speculative as making a new universe, i would say the risk is just wa toi that you're going to waste all that money. I'ld be better to spend it on something that we ar more certain will actually benefit people fair enough.
