I was terrified to go somewhere where I couldn't have like no people that weren't Christians because I'd never been in a predominantly Christian environment. So my dad said well I've heard of this school called Moody Bible Institute and it's in downtown Chicago so you could definitely like work a job off campus if you went there. And then straight out of Bible college I was offered the opportunity to move to New York City and start a youth ministry for an upstart church plant. He planted a youth ministry in low income among the low income housing projects in Lower Manhattan. They're getting found that ministry led it for five years, then he moved to right across the river to Brooklyn and pastor that church
