The Immigrant Food Culture in the US

Food and food culture can shape our understanding of a place, often politically. I first came across NAS during the pandemic when she was on Padma Lakshmi's travel food show Taste the Nation on Hulu. One of my favourite episodes was when Padma went to LA, and NAS took her on a tour around Terangelis - an area which is home to the highest population of Iranians outside of Iran. If you hate social media, don't hate it for just 20 minutes and just go on Twitter and see what you find. It's incumbent on all of us to go and educate ourselves.
