The Sermon on the Mount, the Meek Shall Inherit the Earth

There's a line in the New Testament that says, and sin the Sermon on the Mount, says the meek shall inherit the earth. The way it's normally interpreted is if you're so weak that you're harmless then things will go well for you. It means I've made a vow to God, the possessor of heaven and earth, that I will not take anything from a thread even to a shoelace. That's what that phrase means. Those who have weapons and know how to use them but still keep them sheathed will Inherit the earth.
