Is Globalization a Diminution of Opportunity?
The US is 25% of global GDP, but it runs a deficit that allows everybody else to have a surplus. So I'm wondering if the kind of monetary space globally for globalization as we knew it to be sustained is actually a shrinking possibility space. What's driving international macro asymmetries is basically domestic, both individual incentives and political incentives.
