The Bodhisattva, a Marxist and a Buddhist
The figure of the Bodhisattva is an already enlightened being who, out of pure loving compassion for other sentient beings, remains in the cycle of Samsara and four goes Nirvana. The Sattvas set for themselves the impossible task, the consciously impossible task, of ending all suffering and helping all beings to awaken. They vow not to enter Nirvana themselves until all beings can enter it together, hand in hand. That's real solidarity.
