The West Memphis 3 - The Story of the West Memphis Trial
When the documentaries came out, people all over the world saw what we went through and started writing us. That's when they started raising money to hire attorneys to represent this post-conviction. Support for the West Memphis 3 grew exponentially with celebrities like Eddie Vetter, Johnny Depp, and the Dixie chicks joining the cause. In 2010, the Arkansas Supreme Court ordered a new evidentiary hearing for theWest Memphis 3. Their attorneys were preparing for a new trial. If they won, the state would potentially have to pay the three of them millions for their wrongful convictions.
