The critiques of globalization are coming largely from outside the church, but they are indictments of our colonization by the commodifying power of current economic understanding. Roert caplin captures the emerging future in his description of globalization when he says, we are entering a world in which there is a single white stretched limousine driving through a massive suetto like world that is globalization.
