The Future of Technology

There are only four possible charts you can come up with or some variations of them. The cyclical one I have to confess I myself find implausible because there's enough information in the world today that it's hard to imagine us actually losing anything we've gained. Deceleration seems too pessimistic. People tend to think, tend to think that's not quite right. And then finally there is sort of the, the world of relentless exponential acceleration. Most people don't really think it's any of these. They think it's something totally different but they're obviously quite counter to what we would think.
