I Love the Sound of the Sterling Engine
Sterling engines are also being used for power generation in landfills across the United States. The heat differential between the interior of the sub and the seawater is what drives the energy creation. Because the Sterling engine is so quiet, the submarine is considered one of the most silent in the world. In war games, it successfully sinks its enemies,. including US aircraft, the USS Enterprise and the USS Ronald Reagan.
