Isn't It Just Populism?
Populism is just an extension of the way in which main stream politicians simp fy issues, caricature their opponents and promise the earth. And there always has to be some popularism, because otherwise, after all, you're trying to appeal to an electorate. So if you can't appeal to your electorate and get elected, you can sit on the side lines for the rest of time, but you're not going to achieve anything. Wise politicians know the underlying reality of their trade. i think in my time in politics, i've watched politicians, john major, margaret thatcher, attorney blair,. always an understanding of the limits and of the dangers of straying over them
