Missionaries on Tonga - The Story of the Duff
Missionaries were sent to Tonga in 1820s. They tried to convert the locals, but ended up getting involved in a civil war. Three of them died and they had to be evacuated from the island. But that's not where their story ends. The methodists learned from the struggles of the duff and even drew on some converts for their conversion project.
