Some people think cosmetics in the USA aren't safe because we don't have an approval process like the EU. Europe does not pre-approve any products either. The US has a cottage industry of lawyers that are constantly monitoring products, claims, ingredients that are considered to be unsafe. Your competitors will turn you into the FDA if they feel that you're using an unsafe ingredient and you're making false and misleading claims.
