Did They Accept Him?

I don't know how long Gabby has been in this life, but it did seem like they still treated him like he was an outsider. It seemed like they were just rich period. And they made a point that he married into being rich. I think that was kind of the point they were trying to make here is like these rich people look at him and he's a joke.
