How Do You Combat a Flood?
1746 people died in the African floods. There are efforts from previous generations to try to warn those in the future that may not even know that the previous generation existed. It takes so long for the carbon dioxide to build up in the water that you just don't know and so there are some attempts they're using engineering methods to degas. All of these death lakes are in proximity of a volcano but it also looks like nobody knows exactly how the volcano is contributing to this build up.
