Wagner's Attrition in the Battle of Boc Mode

My theory on Boc Mode is that Progosian is actually trying to set up a trap for Shoryko and Garasimov here. My basic sense of it was that Wagner's forces were principally used to assault. They've not been used in defense throughout this war. So they're going to leave and redeploy anyway. With them having taken Boc Mode and now withdrawing, it actually does tie up some Russian forces.
