The Purpose of Language Is to Define Reality
Before the written word, words would point you to life and death realities. The purpose of language is to describe reality. If we can no longer agree over what reality is, then we can't agree on a common basis to solve our disputes. So that's where the current assault on reality comes in. Whenever you want to change a society, you have to begin by convincing your target audience that everything they have come to hold to believe is true, isn't true. Everything we see around us and take us for true is a manifestation of collective consciousness. Without the collective consciousness of human beings, we wouldn't have reality.
