We are often so limited by a presentism, what's happening in this exact moment must continue to happen exactly the way it is happening forever. There could be a coup in a country we've never heard of tomorrow that fundamentally changes American history. And I'm sure that there's plenty of stuff I'm saying right now that 2050 our kids are gonna be doing a podcast together and talking about how they're dumb parents.
