Undergraduates in the Lab - What Have You Learned?
When we talked back in 2009, you talked highly about the advantage of having undergraduates in the lab. One of the most obvious advantages being that it's okay if an experiment fails because when you're a grad student you have to have something that you know is going to succeed. For example, this paper I was discussing where we had identified five different genes,. two of the students on that paper were undergraduates.
