Advertisers spend as much as 18 lakh rupees for just a 10 second ad spot during the IPL. In a match, there's a total ad inventory of around 2,300 seconds. A broadcaster stands to make 32 crore rupees from these advertisements per game. Spread across 84 games, the broadcaster is probably netting close to 2,700 crore rupee for one year or around 13,500 crore rupees for the 5 year period.
