The Importance of ESG in State Investments

ESG in its current form, it means what whoever is talking about it intends it to mean and not doesn't necessarily translate to a broad audience. One of the places where states should focus if they're interested in doing something is ensuring that the pension fiduciaries are living up to their duties. But none of that comes with kind of a blanket prohibition on doing ESG or a blanket requirement to do ESG.
