Cubans Are Worried About Sonic Weapons

The most powerful commercial sonic device available at the moment is called a long-range acoustic device or L-rad. Some get up to 160 decibels which is about the same level as a gun going off. If it were an L-rad, it would have woken the whole neighborhood. A weapon like this capable of causing the symptoms in Cuba would be far from covert. The Cuban government launches their investigation into what's going on and they tap up Dr Mitchell Faldair's Sosa, director of the Cuban Center for Neuroscience,. He's on a research trip to Mexico when he first hears about what was going on in Havana. And that's when things really start to snowball.
