The Judge Didn't Exonerate Mario Batali
The judge found Batali not guilty of indecent assault and battery in an incident that happened in 2017 outside of a restaurant in the Tony Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. After this ruling came down, somebody de-med me and said something to the effective, are you going to take back what you said about Mario Batali now that he's been exonerated? And I was tempted to reply with the gift of Mandy Patinkin from the Princess Bride, where he says, you keep using that word. Exonerate means to absolve any blame for wrongdoing. In this particular case, the judge didn't exonerate Mario Batali of anything.
