Is There a Need for Young People?
Jason butler was very much of the view that young people should focus their energy on increasing their income. Andrew bailey, the bank of england governor, hit the headlines recently when he suggested that people shouldn't ask for a pay rise. What does paul think? There's several things to say here. One is that if pay rises are high everywhere, and then that can an effect pushing up inflation into the future.
