The Opposite Is True for Pain Management

Pain feels worse when you're thinking about it and when you're focusing on the body part that hurts. The opposite is also true. When stress and anxiety are low, your brain sends a message to that pain dial lowering pain volume. So pain feels less bad when you are relaxed and calm. Thing two is mood, emotions. Pain feels lessbad when emotions are positive; thing three is attention.
