There's no way to know when you've crossed that boundary and our best advice would be to not leave things up to chance for a fluid wash. too much solvent something someone probably will only be able to tell after it dries and cracks or is there some tells when they're painting in the studio itself. When an artist uses solvent in a first layer do they need to use it in all the layers after that from a like everything adheres together nicely?
