How to Use Watercolor Brushes
If you don't moist your paint and if you want to get that intense color, it's very difficult. I tend to use one or two manufacturers mostly because I understand how the paper behaves. And then what brushes do you use, but almost more importantly, what do you want from those brushes? So I often use my brush like the way I would write calligraphy. This allows different type of lines and washes that you could generate with one brush. The design is a little different. It has a very kind of a telegraphic feel to that. That's something that I kind of like,. oh, that's how I would like to see it.
