Over 23 million times a git transcript service was used that year. The security team combed through those 23 million requests and found more fraudulent requests. Three months after the initial discovery of the stolen tax records, the iris announced there were another 220 thousand tax records that were illegally accessed. This raised the full number of stolen records to 334 thousand. It seems like criminals are better at knowing your personal information than you are.
