Mahijji: I think more and more private participation is happening. But as far as the core activities of railways are concerned, I think that is continuing with the railways. Anything involving safety continues to be with the railways and that is not being privatized. Construction activities, manufacturing and other things, they are definitely needs to be privatized. Otherwise, we cannot achieve the kind of progress which we have to make," he said.
