Dissertation Research - How Do You Do This?

In my discitation research, studied how the chinese elites, in a sense, ad changed their discourse about the this growing wave of unrest after 19 89. The central government can have responded to this in too promp fashion. So i had to think about a whatto do next. And then i thought the natural move would be like a to move away from discourse to actual events. I wrote a proposal to the to the honkong general research fund to fund a study that collects data and codes it and then systematically analyzes it.
