The Importance of Dante in the Inferno

Dante was working from a weird, I don't think he ever read the actual iliad because his, he puts Achilles in the circle of the lustful. He's just a different source. And the other thing is like Dante, sorry, Milton, there's a thought that maybe Milton never read Dante, um, but there, he knows it too. Like you don't have to have read the thing to also know about the thing. But my teachers make me read both.
