The Unification Church in Japan

The church owns businesses around the world, including both the washington times news er in america and one of korea's largest chable, or mega corporations. These japan base ventures provided a huge chunk of the church's money, at one point, as much as 70 %. Some branches of the japanese right are obviously tolerant or even supportive, of the unification church. But parts of the right, including the ultra nationalist right, are very opposed to it. Partially this is out of a sense that the church plays on japanese war guilt, something that right wing revisionists are very opposition to.
