Sindy Beck - A Story of a Missing Person
Cynthia fellex from vancouver, or sindy, as she was known went missing in 19 97. Her welfare cheque was cashed on september 20th but this was the last sign that many was alive. Sindy's parents divorced after six years when her father was discovered to be an alcoholic and a cheeter. She married in her early twenties and gave birth to a baby girl who was born addicted to the drug heroin. Many fought hard to detox and was successful for a time, but her addiction again took hold,. eventually sending her to the downtown east side and away from her family.
