Is There a Difference Between Nuclear Weapons and Conventional Weapons?
Nuclear weapons can have different yields, so some are more lower yield than others. The bom that was dropped on hirashima was on the order of 15 killatons. That's 15 thousand tons of conventional t n t. There is a very big difference between using conventional weapons and nuclear weapons. Any direct conflict with te nuclear armed state carries the risk that they could be used.
