The Bigness Factor in East of Eden

The James Dean film is all about the fourth part of this four part book. And I can understand why because there's so much stuff. So you would have to make a much bigger, epic scale movie than I think Kazan was probably making in the 50s. There was another movie like that Universal was attached to that Jennifer Lawrence was going to star in. That's been stuck in production hell apparently forever and nobody knows anything about it.
