The Baron's Proposal to Hannah
He accuses his wife of playground infidelity and shocking behavior. And so when he proposes to Hannah, what does she say? Well, initially she's speechless but then I think she gently and kindly rejects his slightly outrageous offer. He makes this outrageous offer and she explains that in the terms of her husband's will, when she remarries, she loses the money. So ultimately the Baron gets his wish and Danilo does marry the Mary widow and she's Mary indeed.
