Sally Kohn: What inspired you to write the art of brevity? Kohn: I've been thinking about flash fiction and writing it for a long time. The more I practiced writing 100-word stories, the more easily I could do it. She says writers need to have different dispositions in order to write novel versus micro-length story. "I'm now kind of somewhat schizophrenic writer," she says.
