The Scaling Laws of Life on the Planet
Astonishingly, the scaling laws are for all organisms. It's not just mammals, but it's also true for insects, birds, fish, crustacean, plants, trees,. In other words, in of their sort of engineering structure, they all seem to have been the same law. That's pretty weird because we're not a tree. We move around, obviously not a tree; yet we satisfy the same scaling law. So there were the underlying reason for this. And so what that led me to realize was the thing that underlies this is that it must be something to do with the mathematics and physics of networks.
