The Future of Capitalism
In a moment where there appears to be a productivity crisis infecting the entire capitalist world system, does the question of service work also now pose a more general question about the future of capitalism? Yes. I mean, this is the most ambitious claim that leno, my book, tries to kind of hint at, but can't really prove. And we have to see capitalism as something that emerged prior to manufacturing, but enabled the rise of manufacturing and depended upon it. So in a certain way, i think, like structure as marxism allows us to think about in a Certain way, the effect preceded the cause to some degree, in the rise of capitalism.
