Do You Know How to Transform the Divine Love?
Dante was richly read in philosophy and capable of expressing very eloquently philosophical ideas. It's not that he's saying this form of poetry is like holy evil because he obviously draws a great deal from it as well as classical antecedents. He's saying there's something missing here and what's missing is there's a ceiling that this kind of is a horizontal human kind of love. What we need is to find a way in which contained in that human love incarnate even in that humanLove is the distilled seed of something higher, something other.
