I love reading books, not great literature. I just loved the ability to be in a classroom and talk about all the issues that really mattered to me. The human experience is the subject of literature. So I could talk about all these things that I cared about and talk about it in relation to these beautiful stories and poems. And so at a certain point, I was like, 'I want to do that for a living'
