Mutantu and Padilla's Plan to Fly a Triple Engine 727
Padilla and Mutantu were supposed to taxi the 727 around, test its engines. If all went well, they would then drive it back to its hangar for takeoff next day. But that's not what happened. The aircraft careened back and forth nearly out of control before finally taking a wild turn on the runway. Airport officials frantically radioed the craft, but there was no response from the cockpit.
