The sumptuary regulations were a form of especially urban legislation introduced all over the world. In Europe, usually when a city achieved a sufficient level of prosperity to be tempted to splash out in the latest slippery and although some sure legislation can regulate excessive indulgence at table,. It narrowed to who could wear what when in most of Europe from behind the legacy of the 13th century will through the 18th century. As we speak people of Iran are protesting a sumptuary regulation about wearing headscarves. That prompts me to ask you about rules that have proved unworkable rules that have been consistently broken.
