The Diplomats: Profiles for US Ambassadors
After the Snowden affair and then most recently with the Pentagon documents leak, is it more difficult or different for diplomats and intelligence officials to work? Yeah. I think we were more careful about whether we would always mention who's specifically told is something just in case. So I don't know how much effect it has still today. It gradually kind of returned to the norm after a year or two. Or conversely, our diplomats becoming more of a topic of interest. There's a book called The Diplomats, Profiles for US Ambassadors. And now of course there's The Diplomat on Netflix series about the ambassador.
